Bass signed his second-round tender with Dallas on Tuesday, Nick Harris of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Cowboys' T.J. Bass: Gets second-round tender
The Cowboys placed a second-round tender on Bass on Saturday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
The move means that the Cowboys will be eligible to match any offer sheet that a team gives Bass, who is a restricted free agent. Bass started in five of 16 regular-season games in 2025 and will look to compete for a permanent starting role in 2026, wherever that might be.

Cowboys' T.J. Bass: Heads to IR
The Cowboys placed Bass (knee) on injured reserve Saturday.
Bass was already ruled out for the Cowboys' matchup against the Giants after being unable to practice all week, but this move likely made space for Nick Leverett to act as a depth piece on the active roster. Hakeem Adeniji and Brock Hoffman are both options to see increased reps on the offensive line.

Cowboys' T.J. Bass: Misses Wednesday's practice
Bass (knee) didn't practice Wednesday, Jon Machota of The Athletic reports.
