Eagles' Jalen Carter: Sheds injury tag for Week 2
Carter (wrist) does not carry an injury designation for Sunday's road game against the Titans.
Carter finished the week with a DNP/LP/LP practice log while working through a wrist injury that he picked up during the Eagles' Week 1 win over the Commanders. Despite the lack of a full practice, the fourth-year defensive lineman has been given the green light to play Week 2. He'll be tasked with plugging the middle against the Titans' rushing attack, which is led by Tony Pollard.

Carter (wrist) was a limited participant at practice Thursday.
Per Eliot Shorr-Parks of Sports Radio 94 WIP Philadelphia, Carter said Thursday, "I'm playing this week." His lack of full participation at practice leaves a bit of space for skepticism, but that could get cleared up when the Eagles release their final injury report of the week Friday.

Eagles' Jalen Carter: DNP Wednesday
Carter (wrist) did not participate in Wednesday's practice.
Carter played 65 of the Eagles' 69 defensive snaps in last Sunday's 24-22 win over the Commanders. The star defensive end logged three tackles (one solo) in the contest but likely suffered his wrist injury in the effort. Carter will need to log a practice in either a limited or full capacity by Friday to have any chance at suiting up for next Sunday's game against the Titans.

Eagles' Jalen Carter: Lands contract extension
The Eagles are signing Carter to a four-year extension worth up to $160 million, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Carter's new deal runs through the 2031 season and includes $106 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid defensive tackle in NFL history. During the 2025 regular season, Carter played 12 games, recording 33 tackles (21 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and seven passes defended. The 2023 first-rounder -- who has been selected to each of the past two Pro Bowls -- is set to remain a key cog on the Eagles' defensive line for the foreseeable future.
