Eagles' Ja'Quinden Jackson: Signs with Philly
The Eagles signed Jackson to a contract Monday.
The Jaguars waived Jackson in May, but he's now caught on with the Eagles due to injuries to Dameon Pierce (hamstring) and Elijah Mitchell (undisclosed). Jackson is likely just a fill-in for the preseason, but he has an outside chance of making the roster if he can prove useful both in the backfield and on special teams.

Ja'Quinden Jackson: Let go by Jacksonville
The Jaguars waived Jackson on Monday.
Jackson spent the 2025 season on the Jaguars' practice squad but was never elevated for a game. The running back signed a reserve/future contract with the team in January but will not be on the roster for training camp as things currently stand. If the 24-year-old clears waivers, he will become a free agent able to sign with any team.

Jackson finished the preseason with 13 carries for 56 yards while adding two catches (on as many targets) for 13 yards.

Jaguars' Ja'Quinden Jackson: Another RB set to join Jags
Jackson signed with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent.
The Jaguars drafted two running backs -- Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen -- and will add Jackson to a room that already has Travis Etienne and Tank Bigsby. Jackson's a big back (6-foot-2, 236 pounds) that lacks speed (4.75 40-yard dash), but he led Arkansas with 790 yards and 15 touchdowns on 149 carries (5.3 YPC) in 2024. He faces stiff competition to earn a roster spot.
