  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Scoops fumble in Week 15 loss

Cooper logged eight tackles (seven solo), including two tackles for a loss, one pass defense and one fumble recovery during the Packers' 34-26 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.

Cooper jumped on an RJ Harvey (ribs) fumble caused by Micah Parsons (knee) early in the first quarter, and the Packers' offense capitalized on the turnover by converting it into a 53-yard field goal from Brandon McManus eight plays later. Cooper has tallied at least eight tackles in each of his last three games, and the 2024 second-rounder is up to 105 combined tackles through 14 regular-season games. It's the first time in his young career that he's reached the tackling century mark, and he'll look to add to his total in Saturday's road tilt against the Bears, a game that carries major playoff implications.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Leading tackler in win

Cooper recorded 11 tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 28-21 win versus the Bears.

Cooper was on the field for all 68 of Green Bay's defensive snaps in Week 14, and he got up to double digits in the tackle department for the fourth time this year. With 97 tackles on the season through 13 games, it would be surprising if he didn't pass the century mark in a Week 15 tilt at Denver.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Logs full practice Thursday

Cooper (shoulder) was a full participant at practice Thursday.

Cooper was able to up his participation after opening the week with a limited session Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. The linebacker now appears to be set to play Sunday against the Bears, but he'll have one more practice Friday to fully prove his health.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Limited at Wednesday's practice

Cooper (shoulder) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.

Cooper dealt with a foot injury for most of November but didn't miss a game, and now he's battling a shoulder injury to start December. It's encouraging that he's still practicing in some fashion, especially with Quay Walker's (neck) status in limbo. Ty'Ron Hopper likely would see an increase in playing time if Cooper can't play Sunday versus the Bears. Cooper has posted 86 tackles (45 solo), three pass breakups and two forced fumbles through 12 games.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Eight stops against Lions

Cooper recorded eight tackles (two solo) in Thursday's 31-24 win over the Lions.

Cooper was on the injury report with a foot injury leading up to the contest, though he still played nearly all of the defensive snaps. His eight tackles were his highest mark since Week 9, while he's managed to take a step forward in his second year as a pro.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Will play vs. Detroit

Cooper (foot) doesn't have an injury designation for Green Bay's matchup against the Lions on Thursday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.

Cooper was a limited participant in Tuesday's walkthrough but will continue to play through the foot injury that has plagued him since earlier in the season. Across his first 11 outings, the 24-year-old has totaled 72 tackles (43 solo), including 0.5 sacks, and will look to keep producing versus Detroit.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Estimated as limited

Cooper (foot) was limited on Monday's estimated practice report, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Cooper has been playing through the foot issue for weeks and logged 100 percent of the defensive snaps Sunday against the Vikings. He should be ready to roll for Thursday's Thanksgiving clash with the Lions.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Just four stops vs. Minnesota

Cooper recorded four total tackles (two solo) in Sunday's 23-6 win over the Vikings.

Cooper has underwhelmed relative to his usual production over the Packers' last three games, totaling just 16 total tackles during that span. Regardless, the Texas A&M product remains one of Green Bay's top defenders, recording 78 stops, including 0.5 sacks, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles over 11 games this season. He's expected to remain one of the team's top tacklers and a viable IDP option in the Week 13 matchup against the Lions on Thursday.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Set to play Sunday

Cooper (foot) doesn't carry an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Vikings, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Cooper was limited in practice both Wednesday and Thursday with a lingering foot injury. However, the 24-year-old is ready to go for Sunday's matchup against Minnesota after logging a full session Friday. The second-year pro has started every game this season while managing the injury, accounting for 74 tackles, including 0.5 sacks, and two forced fumbles.

  • Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Posts another limited practice

Cooper (foot) was limited in practice Thursday.

Cooper has now been limited in practice two straight days. He's still dealing with a foot issue that has resulted in at least one limited practice each of the past three weeks. Cooper has played almost every defensive snap while managing the injury, so there's reason to be optimistic about his status for Sunday versus the Vikings unless he's encountered a setback.
