Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Scoops fumble in Week 15 loss
Cooper logged eight tackles (seven solo), including two tackles for a loss, one pass defense and one fumble recovery during the Packers' 34-26 loss to the Broncos on Sunday.
Cooper jumped on an RJ Harvey (ribs) fumble caused by Micah Parsons (knee) early in the first quarter, and the Packers' offense capitalized on the turnover by converting it into a 53-yard field goal from Brandon McManus eight plays later. Cooper has tallied at least eight tackles in each of his last three games, and the 2024 second-rounder is up to 105 combined tackles through 14 regular-season games. It's the first time in his young career that he's reached the tackling century mark, and he'll look to add to his total in Saturday's road tilt against the Bears, a game that carries major playoff implications.

Packers' Edgerrin Cooper: Leading tackler in win
Cooper recorded 11 tackles (five solo) during Sunday's 28-21 win versus the Bears.
Cooper was on the field for all 68 of Green Bay's defensive snaps in Week 14, and he got up to double digits in the tackle department for the fourth time this year. With 97 tackles on the season through 13 games, it would be surprising if he didn't pass the century mark in a Week 15 tilt at Denver.

Cooper was able to up his participation after opening the week with a limited session Wednesday due to a shoulder injury. The linebacker now appears to be set to play Sunday against the Bears, but he'll have one more practice Friday to fully prove his health.

Cooper dealt with a foot injury for most of November but didn't miss a game, and now he's battling a shoulder injury to start December. It's encouraging that he's still practicing in some fashion, especially with Quay Walker's (neck) status in limbo. Ty'Ron Hopper likely would see an increase in playing time if Cooper can't play Sunday versus the Bears. Cooper has posted 86 tackles (45 solo), three pass breakups and two forced fumbles through 12 games.
