    Schultz signed a one-year contract with HC Lugano of Switzerland's National League, Chris Johnston of The Athletic reports Wednesday. Schultz had seven goals and 26 points in 70 regular-season outings with Seattle in 2023-24. The 34-year-old defenseman has collected 71 goals and 324 points across 745 career regular-season appearances between his time with Edmonton, Pittsburgh, Washington and Seattle.

    Schultz posted a power-play assist in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Wild. Schultz snapped a four-game point drought with the helper.
