Rangers' Gabe Perreault: Adds two apples in win
Rotowire
Perreault recorded two assists, put two shots on net and served two PIM in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Flames.
Perreault secured a two-point night on New York's final two goals, which were both scored by his linemate, Alexis Lafreniere. The pair of helpers brought Perreault up to nine assists, 15 points, 46 shots on net, 20 hits and 16 blocked shots across 31 games this season. While the campaign has been a down year for the Rangers overall, the emergence of Perreault has been a positive takeaway. The 23rd overall selection from the 2023 NHL Entry Draft has taken a step up in March, where he has three multi-point performances across five games. If the 20-year-old winger continues to remain involved offensively, he'll likely be a staple in the Rangers' top six for years to come.

Rangers' Gabe Perreault: Drives comeback in OT loss
Rotowire
Perreault scored two goals and added an assist in Monday's 5-4 overtime loss to the Blue Jackets.
With the Rangers down 4-0 to begin the third period, Vladislav Gavrikov sparked a rally by scoring just 30 seconds into the frame. Perreault took it from there, stealing the puck in the Columbus zone and firing the puck past Elvis Merzlikins just 24 seconds later, then setting up Will Borgen for a tally before potting the tying goal himself with less than five minutes left in regulation. It was the best game of Perreault's young career, and with the Rangers in freefall and potentially set to sell off more veterans at the trade deadline, the 20-year-old winger will likely get a long look in a top-six role. Through his first 27 NHL games, he's delivered five goals and 11 points.
