Catton is clear to return to the lineup versus the Stars on Wednesday, though it's not yet clear if he'll play. The 20-year-old should be expected to settle into a middle-six role. He had six points over 16 outings in January prior to his three-game injury absence.
Catton (upper body) is a game-time decision for Wednesday's game against Dallas.
Catton has five goals and 11 points in 40 outings in 2025-26. He was last in the lineup Jan. 29. Catton will probably serve in the bottom six if he's healthy enough to return Wednesday. Catton isn't the only question mark for Seattle going into the game. Jaden Schwartz (lower body) and Ben Meyers (lower body) also might return from injury.

During that span, he has begun to shoot the puck more with 15 shots on goal across his last 11 games. While the rookie doesn't have the high-end stats to compete in standard fantasy formats, his recent performances and spot inside Seattle's top six could lead to value in deep leagues down the stretch.
