Nadeau scored twice in AHL Chicago's 3-2 win over Colorado on Sunday.
Nadeau reached the 20-goal mark on the year with this effort. The 20-year-old forward has slowed down from his sizzling pace in late January but still has three goals and three assists over his last six outings. Nadeau has earned 44 points, 116 shots on net and a plus-24 rating over 36 appearances. Sunday was his 100th AHL game.

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Gets Denmark's first Games win
Andersen made 33 saves for Denmark on Sunday in a 4-2 win over Latvia at the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.
It was Denmark's first win of the Games and first at an Olympics involving NHL players. Andersen put up a strong performance, and he will likely be in net Tuesday when Denmark faces Czechia in the qualification playoffs.

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Returning to Olympic net
Andersen will start Sunday's Olympic round-robin game in goal against Latvia.
It will be the second start of the Olympics for Andersen. The 36-year-old started Denmark's first group play game against Germany, stopping 23 of the 26 shots that he faced. With the team on the front end of a back-to-back Saturday, Andersen got the game off, but he is returning to the net Sunday.

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Beaten three times Thursday
Andersen stopped 23 of 26 shots in Denmark's 3-1 loss to Germany in the 2026 Olympics on Thursday.
Andersen was beaten once in the first period and twice more in the second. Things won't get easier for the Hurricanes' netminder since Denmark's next game is scheduled for Saturday against Team USA.

Hurricanes' Frederik Andersen: Starting against Germany
Andersen will start for Denmark during Thursday's game against Germany at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
Andersen is in the midst of one of the worst seasons of his career in the NHL, as he's gone 7-10-5 with a 3.26 GAA and .871 save percentage over 22 appearances with the Hurricanes. He made three appearances for Denmark to help the team qualify for the Olympics, and he went 3-0-0 with a 1.31 GAA and .938 save percentage in those outings.

Hurricanes' Ivan Ryabkin: Two of each Wednesday
Ryabkin scored twice and added two assists in QMJHL Charlottetown's 6-3 win over Shawinigan on Wednesday.
Ryabkin has earned four multi-point efforts over eight contests since joining Charlottetown in mid-January. He earned his first multi-goal game, and he's up to five tallies and 10 assists so far. The Hurricanes prospect is likely to be a steady scorer for the remainder of the QMJHL campaign.

Hurricanes' Felix Unger Sorum: Breaks AHL goal drought
Unger Sorum scored twice and added an assist in AHL Chicago's 5-4 overtime win over Colorado on Friday.
Unger Sorum had gone 22 games without a goal prior to Friday. He has started to pick up the pace as a playmaker with 14 helpers over his last 10 outings. Overall, he's at 10 goals, 39 points, 57 shots on net and a plus-6 rating through 42 appearances for the Wolves in his second AHL campaign.

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Stays hot with empty-netter
Staal scored an empty-net goal on three shots in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Rangers.
Staal has scored in three straight games and has six points, including five goals, over his last seven outings. The 37-year-old has thrived with more prominent chances on offense this season, including a spot on the second power-play unit at times. He's up to 15 goals, 26 points, 76 shots on net, 110 hits, 28 blocked shots, 25 PIM and a plus-4 rating across 54 appearances.

Hurricanes' Andrei Svechnikov: Fires home winner Thursday
Svechnikov scored the game-winning goal in Thursday's 2-0 victory over the Rangers.
The 25-year-old winger pounced on a clearing attempt at the New York blue line, zipped into the slot and wired the puck past Jonathan Quick to open the scoring early in the first period. That proved to be all the offense Brandon Bussi would need on the night. Svechnikov would probably prefer not to take a three-week break for the Olympics given his current form, as he's erupted for nine goals and 14 points over his last 10 games.

Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Blanks Blueshirts on Thursday
Bussi turned aside 16 shots in Thursday's 2-0 win over the Rangers.
The rookie netminder wasn't busy as he cruised to his second shutout of the season, and he didn't face much of a challenge from a toothless New York offense that had just seen Artemi Panarin depart for Los Angeles. Bussi will carry a seven-start win streak into the Olympic break, a stretch in which he's delivered a dazzling 1.72 GAA and .921 save percentage.

Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Facing Rangers
Bussi will be between the visiting pipes against the Rangers on Thursday, Walt Ruff of the Hurricanes' official site reports.
Bussi has won his last six starts and is a gaudy 22-3-1 with a 2.24 GAA and a .904 save percentage. This is his first season in the NHL, but at the age of 27, Bussi is not eligible for the Calder Trophy. The Rangers are generating 2.66 goals per game in 2025-26, good for 26th in the NHL.

Hurricanes' K'Andre Miller: Picks up assist Tuesday
Miller logged an assist in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.
Miller has been limited to two assists over his last 11 games, a significant downturn after he posted two goals and six helpers in eight contests between Dec. 29 and Jan. 10. The 26-year-old has lost some prime offensive minutes now that the Hurricanes' blue line is fully healthy, with Shayne Gostisbehere and Alexander Nikishin seeing most of the power-play time. Miller has four goals, 23 points, 80 shots on net, 61 hits, 49 blocked shots, 38 PIM and an even plus-minus rating through 48 appearances this season, giving him a chance to reach the 30-point mark for the third time in four years.

Hurricanes' Jordan Staal: Nets game-winner Tuesday
Staal scored the game-winning goal and added six hits in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.
Staal has four goals, one assist, eight shots on net and 15 hits over his last six games. The 37-year-old's tally at 14:53 of the third period Tuesday stood as the game-winner, his second such goal this season. He's at a total of 14 goals, 25 points, 73 shots, 109 hits, 28 blocked shots and a plus-3 rating over 53 appearances overall.

Hurricanes' Seth Jarvis: Lights lamp twice in win
Jarvis scored two goals, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 win over Ottawa.
Both tallies came in the second period to help Carolina surge out to a 3-1 lead. Jarvis has been locked in since returning from a rib injury in early January, producing six goals and 14 points, including three goals and five assists on the power play, in 14 games. He has reached the 25-goal mark for three straight regular seasons and has 43 points through 48 appearances this campaign.

Hurricanes' Sebastian Aho: Three points in win over Ottawa
Aho scored a goal and added two assists, one on the power play, in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.
His first-period goal was a bit of a fluke, as his centering pass deflected into the net off Jake Sanderson's skate, but Aho then helped set up a pair of Seth Jarvis tallies in the second frame. Aho's goal was his 20th of the season, and he's delivered five multi-point performances in the last 11 games, piling up three goals and 14 points over that stretch.

Hurricanes' Brandon Bussi: Banks another win Tuesday
Bussi stopped 22 shots in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Senators.
The 27-year-old netminder continues to amaze, extending his win streak to six games. Through his first 26 NHL outings, Bussi has gone a stunning 22-3-1 with a 2.24 GAA and a .904 save percentage. While he doesn't qualify as a rookie and likely won't see enough work to challenge Terry Sawchuk's NHL record of 44 wins by a rookie, Bussi could challenge Corey Crawford's 33-win rookie year in the 2010-11 regular season.
