FORT WAYNE, Ind. (AP) Bryson Scott scored 23 points and grabbed nine rebounds as IPFW posted its third straight win, beating Mississippi Valley State 79-54 on Saturday.

Scott was 8 of 10 from the field including three from distance for the Mastodons (4-2) who upset No.3 Indiana, 71-68, on Tuesday night. Mo Evans and John Konchar added 13 points apiece. The team shot 53 percent from the field, 84.2 percent from the line and outscored MVSU in the paint 30-20.

Scott and Charles Ruise Jr. sank two 3-pointers as part of an 8-0 run late in the second period that gave the Mastodons their biggest lead of the game, 68-37, with 6:12 to play and they cruised from there.

In the first period, Konchar scored eight points and Evans hit a 3 as the Mastodons surged 10-0 to lead 24-15 with 7:52 left before the break.

Darrell Riley and Isaac Williams led the winless Delta Devils (0-7) with 10 points apiece.
