BUIES CREEK, N.C. (AP) Chris Clemons scored 27 points, sinking 8-of-9 free throws, to lead Campbell in a 92-60 win over NAIA-member Allen University on Monday night.
Marcus Burk added 12 points, Damontez Oliver had 11 and Andrew Eudy tied a career best with 12 rebounds for Campbell (3-3), which hit 57 percent from the field and dominated the boards 49-26. Clemons was 8 for 13 from the field, including three 3-pointers.
The Camels never trailed, breaking away with a 13-0 run that included 3-pointers from Clemons and Oliver to go up 30-10 midway through the first half and taking a 45-23 advantage at intermission. In the second half, Campbell shot 63 percent from the field and was 6 of 11 from long range to continue pulling away.
Sherrod Wade led Allen with 20 points, Demetrius Richardson added 12 and Donald Marshall Jr. had 11.
