CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) Zane Najdawi had 22 points and 10 rebounds and Warren Sledge 18 points on six 3-pointers plus 10 assists to lead The Citadel to a 144-94 victory over Toccoa Falls on Wednesday night.
The Bulldogs (7-4) came in ranked first in seven offensive categories in the Southern Conference, including scoring offense (101.5 per game), and didn't disappoint Wednesday, though their 144 points weren't a season high. They beat Johnson University 146-84 on Nov. 13.
The double-double was the fourth of the season for Najdawi. Brian White added four 3-pointers and 16 points and Ezekiel Balogun 15 as nine Bulldogs finished in double figures. The Citadel was 45 of 90 from the field, 19 of 46 from the arc and made 35 of 40 free throws.
The Eagles, a National Christian College Athletic Association team playing the game as an exhibition, were led by Cameron Williams with 28 points. They committed 28 turnovers, 16 via steals.
