The Lakers have yet to release their injury report for Tuesday's matchup with the Magic, so it remains to be seen what injury tag he'll carry leading up to tipoff. Hayes suffered the injury during the first quarter of Sunday's clash and was unable to return.

The NBA announced that Hayes has been suspended for Thursday's game against the 76ers after he pushed a mascot during pregame introductions in the Lakers' 142-111 win over the Wizards last Friday.
Hayes had appeared in both of the Lakers' ensuing two games following Friday's contest before the NBA concluded its investigation of the incident and levied the one-game ban. Hayes stepped back into his usual role as the Lakers' backup center after he had missed the previous three games while managing a sore left hamstring. So long as Deandre Ayton remains healthy, Hayes doesn't look poised to see his role grow substantially, as neither of the two centers offers enough floor spacing to play alongside one another in the frontcourt. For the season, Hayes is shooting a career-best 76.9 percent from the floor while averaging 6.2 points, 4.0 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 17.5 minutes over 33 appearances.
