Da Silva posted 11 points (4-9 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-1 FT), seven rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes during Tuesday's 117-108 win over the Heat.
After being held scoreless on 0-of-7 shooting in Sunday's loss to the Knicks, da Silva bounced back and led Orlando's bench in points and rebounds. He also knocked down multiple triples for the second time in his last four games. Da Silva has cooled down noticeably after averaging 11.9 points on 49.3 percent from the field and 1.9 threes on a 41.7 percent clip in his first eight games, to now averaging 8.3 points on 42.9 percent from the field and 1.5 threes on a 33.3 percent clip in his last four. Regardless, he has been very involved in the Magic's rotation off the bench, but fantasy owners would love to see him get his numbers back to how they were at the beginning of the season. Da Silva could see increased playing time moving forward if Paolo Banchero (groin) is forced to miss extended time.

da Silva has been hit-or-miss this season, but he's been trending up over the past two, scoring in the teens, draining threes and snatching steals, so he's on the radar in deep leagues. It helps that he'll draw a favorable matchup against the Wizards on a six-game Saturday.

The Magic also picked up their option on Anthony Black, but they declined Jett Howard's option. Da Silva has played a key role for the second unit to open the 2025-26 campaign for Orlando with averages of 9.8 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20.3 minutes per game.

Friday marked da Silva's second straight showing with at least 15 points and two three-pointers made. He has been one of Orlando's main contributors among the second unit, and will likely continue to operate as the team's sixth man if he keeps this level of production. If da Silva can provide value similar to the six rebound, three assist and three steal game he turned in Friday, in addition to being a scorer, fantasy managers should give serious consideration to rostering him.
