The Army Black Knights will look to stay unbeaten on the season when they battle the Temple Owls in a key American Athletic Conference matchup on Thursday night. The Black Knights, who are 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the American, are coming off a 37-14 win over Rice on Saturday, while the Owls (1-3 and 0-1) earned a 45-29 win over Utah State in Week 4. Army is looking to start a season 4-0 for the first time since 2021 and only the third time in the past 28 years. Temple had trailed 14-0 before coming back to win last week, it was their largest comeback since trailing 21-7 in last year's season opener to Akron. The Owls came back to win 24-21.

Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia. Temple holds a 7-6 series edge, but this will be the first meeting since 2017. He has also carried the ball 22 times for 53 yards (2.4 average) and one touchdown.

Temple's leading receiver is senior Dante Wright, who is in his second season in the program after spending his first three years at Colorado State. Wright leads the team with 26 receptions for 352 yards (13.5 average) and three touchdowns, including a long of 91 yards. He has also carried four times for 14 yards (3.5 average).
