Watch list has arrived in college football. The annual individual awards given at the end of the season will be rolling out their initial lists over the next couple weeks, and college football fans get their first round of debatable distinctions for 2012.

The Outland Trophy carries the distinction of one the few awards for both offensive and defensive players. Each year the Football Writers Association of America picks the best tackles, guards, and centers from both sides of the ball. However, of the 71 players named to the initial Outland Trophy Watch List only 18 are defensive tackles.

The list is headlined by Alabama center Barrett Jones. Jones, who switched from offensive tackle to center, will have the opportunity to be only the second player to win back-to-back Outland Trophies. Nebraska center Dave Rimington is the only other player to carry that honor.

Check out the full watch list below, as well as a breakdown by conference.
