No. 18 Oregon State 38, Arizona 35: Beavers QB Sean Mannion threw for 433 yards and three touchdowns for Oregon State (3-0, 2-0). Mannion's final TD pass came with 1:09 left and proved to be the game-winner. WR Markus Wheaton had 10 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns in the win. Beavers WR Brandin Cooks also had an impressive gamewith nine catches for 149 yards. Oregon State's offense wasn't just an air show as RB Storm Woods rushed for 161 yards and a score on 29 carries. Arizona (3-2, 0-2) QB Matt Scottthrew for 403 yards and three touchdowns. (For more on the game, check out CBSSports.com's Eye on College Football blog here)

No. 2 Oregon 51, Washington State 26: Cougars kept it interesting for a half, but Oregon outscored Washington State 28-7 in the second half. Kenjon Barner totaled 232 yards and four touchdowns as Oregon scored more than 50 points for the third time this season. Ducks QB Marcus Mariota threw for 168 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions. WSU QB Connor Halliday might wake up with a sore arm after throwing 60 passes, completing 33 for 348 yards and a touchdown. (For more on the game, check out CBSSports.com's Eye on College Football blog here)

Arizona State 27, Cal 17: The Arizona State defense sacked Cal QB Zach Maynard six times and Sun Devils QB Taylor Kelly threw for 292 yards. It was Arizona State's first win in Berkeley since 1997. Kelly threw two touchdown passes to WR Kevin Ozier, including a 22-yarder in the fourth quarter with 6:17 left that put the game out of reach. DL Junior Onyealiled the Sun Devils (4-1, 2-0) defense, sacking Maynard three times. Cal is 1-4, 0-2 in Pac-12.

UCLA 42, Colorado 14: If there's a way to stop UCLA QB Brett Hundley, nobody's figured it out. Hundley threw for 307 yards and two touchdowns for the Bruins (4-1, 1-1). The freshman has thrown for at least 305 yards in four of UCLA's five games this season. RBJohnathan Franklin rebounded from his 45-yard performance against Oregon State last week with a 189 total yards against the Buffaloes (1-4, 1-1). Franklin ran for 111 yards and caught three passes for 78 yards. 

Thursday

Washington 17, No. 8 Stanford 13: WR Kasen Williams had a career day and the Washington defense did just enough for the Huskies (3-1, 1-0). Williams caught 10 passes for 129 yards -- both career highs -- and a 35-yard touchdown pass with 4:53 left in the game that proved to be the game-winner. Husky QB Keith Price was 19 of 37 for 177 yards and a touchdown. The Washington defense limited Stanford (3-1, 1-1) to 235 total yards, a year after allowing 615 yards to an Andrew Luck-led Cardinal team. Luck's replacement, Josh Nunes, had an erratic game, going 18 of 37 for 170 yards and an INT. (For more on the game, check out CBSSports.com's Eye on College Football blog here)

Play of the weekend: QB Mannion's 9-yard touchdown pass to Connor Hamlett wasn't the most thrilling play of the weekend, but it was the play of the weekend. Mannion's TD pass with 1:09 left proved to be the game-winner in the Beavers' 38-35 win over Arizona. Oregon State is 3-0 for the first time in 2002.  

He said what? "I wanted to beat them more than anyone else," Washington safety and fifth-year senior Justin Glenn said after beating Stanford. "The last couple of years, it's just been beatdowns. ... And I feel like they didn't really respect us, but they have to after tonight." 

RapidReports offensive star of the day: WR Williams, Washington. Williams picked a good night to have a career game. The sophomore caught 10 passes for 129 yards and the game-winning touchdown in Thursday's 17-13 upset of No. 8 Stanford. Williams accounted for 41.2 percent of Washington's 313 total yards. The 10 catches and 129 yards are career-highs. 

RapidReports defensive star of the day: DL Will Sutton, Arizona State. What Sutton (6-foot-1, 267 pounds) did to the Cal offensive line Saturday was almost unfair. He had two sacks and four TFLs against a Bear O-line that had no answer for him. Sutton had eight total tackles, third most on the team. 

His seat is getting uncomfortable: Jeff Tedford, Cal. Scorching might be a better call. Saturday's loss to Arizona State drops Cal to 1-4, the worst start in Tedford's 11-year tenure. 

A possible spot on the bench for: QB Maynard, Cal. Maynad appears here for the second week in a row. In the 27-17 loss to Arizona State, the senior was 9 of 28 for 126 yards, the second-fewest in his career, including his one-year as a starter at Buffalo. His 32.1 percent completion percentage was easily the lowest of his career. Maynard's previous low was 40.6 percent in his final game at Buffalo in November 2009. 

Why you care about these three stat lines: 

  1. Mannion throws for 433 yards: Oregon State is 3-0 for the first time since 2002 thanks in large part to sophomore QB Mannion. Mannion is getting better each week, which has to be scary for Pac-12 opponents. In Oregon State's opener, Mannion threw for 276 yards in a 10-7 upset of Wisconsin. In Game 2, Mannion threw for 379 yards to upset UCLA. Mannion topped those performances Saturday by throwing for a career-high 433 yards in a 38-35 win over Arizona. 
  2. Oregon RB Barner scores four touchdowns: De'Anthony Thomas was on the cover of Sports Illustrated this month, but it's Oregon RB Barner who has stolen the show recently. Barner scored two TDs in the first half and two in the second half of the Ducks' 51-26 over win over Washington State. The senior averaged 9.8 yards on 20 carries and totaled 233 yards in the game. 
  3. The Arizona State defense sacks Cal QB Maynard six times: Opposing QBs better be on high-alert when playing the Sun Devils. Arizona State was sixth in the country in total sacks (14) entering Saturday's game with Cal and it added six against the Golden Bears. When the smoke clears from Saturday, there's a good chance Arizona State will be the nation's No. 1 team when it comes to sacking the quarterback. 

Key number: 15. Arizona State's 27-17 win over Cal on Saturday was the Sun Devils' first win in Berkeley since 1997. The Sun Devils went 9-3 that year, capped by a 17-7 win over Iowa in the Sun Bowl.
