What are the chances that Tennessee quarterback Quinten Dormady and Georgia quarterback Jake Fromm look over to the sideline and get a little star struck during the matchup between the two rivals on Saturday afternoon?
Quite high.
Two of the greatest quarterbacks in football history will be on-campus Saturday afternoon -- Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
According to Mike Strange of the Knoxville News Sentinel, the school will hold an "On-Campus Salute" to Manning -- Tennessee's quarterback from 1994-97 -- to honor his induction into the College Football Hall of Fame. Manning, of course, went on to play in the NFL for the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos through the 2015 season, won Super Bowls with the Indianapolis (2006 season) and Denver (2015 season), was a 14-time Pro Bowler and the league MVP five times.
According to WBIR, Favre will be in Knoxville in partnership with ORCA coolers -- which are made in Nashville. He will be in the company's booth to meet fans and sign autographs prior to entering Neyland Stadium and taking in the action on the sidelines.
Favre played for Southern Miss from 1987-90, before enjoying a long NFL career with the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets and Minnesota Vikings. He won a Super Bowl with the Packers following the 1996 season, made the Pro Bowl 11 times and won three straight league MVP awards from 1995-97 with the Packers.
Manning is the NFL's all-time leading passer with 71,940 yards, one spot ahead of Favre's 71,838.
Georgia and Tennessee will square off at 3:30 p.m. ET at Neyland Stadium
