A team spokesperson would not comment on the pending lawsuit by former head football coach Randy Shannon. "University policy states that we cannot comment on personnel matters," a team spokesperson said. Shannon is suing his former employer for a violations of his "Employee Agreement" and "Guarantee Agreement." Among the items Shannon contends is the school owes him a bonus for getting the team to the 2010 Sun Bowl. The lawsuit was filed on April 27 in the Eleventh Circuit Court of the state of Florida.
