Here are some of the top headlines from around SEC country this Saturday morning:
- Mississippi State released its depth chart Friday night. The biggest surprise is WR Joe Morrow, a redshirt freshman who was expected to push for a starting job, is not included on it.
- Tennessee's starting NT Daniel McCullers is hard to miss at 6-foot-6 and 365 pounds. Amazingly, he actually lost nearly 30 pounds over the offseason, after playing at close to 400 pounds in junior college.
- The Florida QB battle will continue on into the season. Coach Will Muschamp said Jacoby Brissett and Jeff Driskel will play in the season opener against Bowling Green. He's not sure who will technically be the starter at this point.
- Georgia has an interesting situation at QB. Hutson Mason is No. 2 on the depth chart, but coaches told him he could redshirt this season so he will have a chance to start after Aaron Murray leaves. But what would happen if Murray were to be lost for the season?
- CBSSports.com draft analyst Rob Rang takes a look at Missouri's top draft-eligible players. LB Zaviar Gooden, QB James Franklin and WR T.J. Moe are among the players who have a good chance to be drafted.
