Jarron Jones: Clear of suspension
Jones was reinstated from his 10-game suspension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports.
Jones received the 10-game ban in October and is now cleared to take the field. The 27-year-old remains a free agent and has yet to make his NFL debut.

Jones is suspended for 10 games, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jones was last with the Steelers over the summer, but he is currently a free agent. The former Notre Dame product will eventually look to latch on with another NFL team, but this situation certainly does not help his chances. He'll likely have to wait until the offseason for another chance.

Jarron Jones: Cut by Steelers
Jones was waived by the Steelers on Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
Jones was cut loose in order to make room for tackle Chaz Green on the roster. Jones ended last season on the Steelers' practice squad injured reserve list -- now healthy, he'll look to join another team prior to the start of training camp.

The Steelers placed Jones (undisclosed) on the practice squad injured list Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports.
The team didn't reveal the nature of Jones' injury. The 26-year-old offensive tackle could return to team activities late in the postseason if the Steelers make it that far.

Jones has previously spent time on various teams' offseason rosters and practice squads, but he has yet to make his NFL regular-season debut. After a stint as a starter in the XFL, he'll now get a shot to compete for a depth role in Pittsburgh.

Jones signed a future/reserve contract with the Lions on Dec. 31 of 2018 -- barely five months ago -- but is now a free agent again.
