Bears' Montez Sweat: Lowest sack total since 2021
Sweat tallied one tackle in the Bears 24-22 win over the Packers on Sunday.
Sweat was coming off a career year in 2023, when he posted 57 tackles, including 12.5 sacks, when he played for both the Commanders and the Bears. This year, the veteran recorded 32 tackles, including 5.5 sacks, which represented his lowest career total on a per-game basis in each category. The pass rusher is signed with the Bears through 2027.

Bears' Montez Sweat: First sack since Week 8
Sweat tallied three tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks and an additional tackle for loss, in the Bears' 30-27 overtime loss to the Vikings on Sunday.

Bears' Montez Sweat: Good to go Sunday
Sweat (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Packers.
After not practicing Wednesday, Sweat was a limited participant Thursday and logged a full session Friday, putting him on track to play against the Packers, who are coming off their bye week. On the season, Sweat has 16 tackles (10 solo), including 3.5 sacks, seven QB hits, two pass breakups and one forced fumble.
