Bills' Ed Oliver: Draws questionable tag for Week 6
Oliver (knee) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against Las Vegas, Sam Warren of The Athletic reports.
Oliver opened the week with consecutive DNPs before logging a limited practice Friday, which was enough for the veteran defensive lineman to be tagged as questionable. If Oliver is ruled out for a third-straight game, then Greg Gaines and DeWayne Carter would once again step into larger roles on the Bills' defensive line.

Oliver (hip) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Chargers.
Oliver injured his hip during warmups ahead of the Week 2 win over the Lions. He didn't practice Wednesday. However, the veteran practiced in a limited capacity Thursday and Friday, so despite the questionable designation, it appears he at least has a shot to play. Bills' Ed Oliver: Back in pads for OTAs
Oliver (knee) is participating in the Bills' OTAs, Alaina Getzenberg of ESPN.com reports.
Back in January, Oliver left Buffalo's loss at Denver in the divisional round early with a knee injury, but the issue does not seem to be bothering him any longer. He projects to start on the Bills' defensive line in 2026 as long as he's available, and he'll be looking to bounce back from a season that saw him appear in just four games as he dealt with biceps and meniscus injuries.

Bills' Ed Oliver: Injuries impact 2025 campaign
Oliver (knee) tallied 12 total tackles (10 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and one forced fumble across three regular-season appearances in 2025.
The 2019 first-round pick from Houston appeared in just three regular-season contests this season due to a biceps injury, but he was incredibly impactful when healthy. Oliver recorded 1.0 sacks in each of his three appearances, finishing the season tied for the fourth-most sacks on the Bills defense. He returned for the divisional-round loss to the Broncos but exited after just 16 defensive snaps due to a knee injury. If Oliver is healthy for the beginning of the 2026 season, he's expected to start as one of the NFL's best interior defensive linemen.

It's unclear if this knee injury is an aggravation or a new injury altogether, but the Bills' run defense takes a step back without his presence.
