Bills' Marquez Stevenson: Heads to IR
The Bills placed Stevenson (foot) on injured reserve Wednesday.
Buffalo kept seven receivers ahead of roster cuts Tuesday, so the writing was on the wall for Stevenson to head to IR since he doesn't appear close to returning from surgery, which he underwent two weeks ago. Had Stevenson stayed healthy through the preseason and secured a spot on the Week 1 roster, he likely would have seen most of his playing time on special teams rather than on offense.
