Jenkins (thigh) was a limited participant during practice Thursday.
Jenkins didn't practice at all Wednesday, so this is a step in the right direction for the Oklahoma State product, who is dealing with a deep thigh bruise. He'll likely try and ramp up his activity level during practice Friday, ahead of the Bears' Week 3 matchup with the Colts.

Bears' Teven Jenkins: Misses Wednesday's practice
Jenkins didn't practice Wednesday after sustaining a deep thigh bruise during Sunday night's loss to the Texans, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Head coach Matt Eberflus told reporters that he "feels good about" Jenkins' availability for Week 3's matchup with the Colts, despite his missed practice Wednesday, per Lieser. However, if Jenkins' deep thigh bruise is too much to overcome by Sunday, expect Bill Murray to get the nod at left guard.

Bears' Teven Jenkins: Won't play versus Arizona
Jenkins (concussion) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
Jenkins was taken out of the Bears' Week 15 loss to the Browns after sustaining a concussion. Cody Whitehair took over at left guard for Jenkins and figures to do so again for Sunday's contest.

Bears' Teven Jenkins: Won't return versus Cleveland
Jenkins (concussion) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Browns, Larry Mayer of the Bears' official site reports.
In addition to a concussion, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reported that Jenkins had his left arm "at a 90 degree angle" when he ran into Myles Garrett with his shoulder. Cody Whitehair will take over for Jenkins at left guard for the remainder of Sunday's contest.

Jenkins (calf) was activated to the 53-man roster Thursday.
Jenkins returned to practice this week after missing the first four games of the season while on injured reserve. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, Jenkins will be active Thursday against the Commanders, although it's not clear what role if any, he'll have on the Bears' offensive line.

Jenkins (calf) is active for Thursday night's game against the Commanders.
This will be Jenkins' season debut after spending the first four weeks on injured reserve. It's a big boost to an offensive line that has been one of the worst in football four games into the year. Jenkins should slide right back into a starting role at guard.
