Lassiter recorded five tackles (five solo) and one pass breakup in Thursday night's win over the Bills.
Lassiter played 100 percent of the defensive snaps for the fifth straight contest and played lockdown coverage against Buffalo, as Josh Allen completed just three passes for 28 scoreless yards when targeting Lassiter. Lassiter recorded two tackles (both solo) and a defensed pass Sunday in a 36-29 victory versus Jacksonville.
Lassiter played every defensive snap for Houston but logged a season-low two stops. He did, however, manage to record a defensed pass for the sixth straight game. The low tackle total doesn't take away from Lassiter's strong play, and he even slid over to the slot at times in nickel packages. Lassiter is tied for 14th in the league with eight defensed passes so far this season.

Lassiter has now tallied five or more stops in all but one of his seven regular-season appearances to kick off the 2025 campaign. On the year, he's accumulated 45 tackles (30 solo) and five passes defensed, including two interceptions. The second-year pro has developed into a strong starter at cornerback for Houston, forming one of the league's best tandems at the position opposite Derek Stingley. Lassiter played 69 of 72 defensive snaps (95.8 percent) and finished Monday's game as the second-leading tackler behind Ernest Jones (11).
