Chris Hilton: Joins practice squad in Green Bay
The Packers signed Hilton to the practice squad Monday.
The Packers waived Hilton during Sunday's cut-down day. The wide receiver cleared waivers and has chosen to rejoin the Packers who claimed him off waivers from the Commanders. Hilton is an undrafted free agent out of LSU and will have to fight with practice squad veterans for a chance to be elevated to the active roster at some point during the 2026 campaign.

Chris Hilton: Let go by Packers
The Packers waived Hilton on Sunday, Wes Hodkiewicz of the team's official site reports.
The Packers claimed Hilton off waivers from the Commanders on Aug. 9. The wide receiver participated in all three preseason games for the Packers but was unable to haul in his only target. The 23-year-old will now be placed on waivers, and if he clears will become a free agent able to sign with any franchise's 53-man roster or practice squad.

Packers' Chris Hilton: Claimed by Green Bay
The Packers claimed Hilton off waivers Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Hilton was waived by the Commanders on Saturday and will now find a new home with the Packers. The undrafted free agent out of LSU was likely claimed to compete for a depth spot and fill out practices. With Jayden Reed (ankle) and Matthew Golden (toe) injured, all preseason reps are likely wide open to any receivers on the roster who can make an impression.

Chris Hilton: Let go by Washington
The Commanders waived Hilton on Saturday.
Hilton signed with the Commanders in early May as an undrafted free agent and participated in the offseason program with the team before being let go Saturday. Assuming he clears waivers, Hilton will have the opportunity to sign with a team looking to add depth to its wide receiver room.

Commanders' Chris Hilton: Secures UDFA deal
Hilton signed with the Commanders as an undrafted free agent Thursday.
Hilton was a four-star recruit in LSU's 2021 class alongside Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas, but his career never took off, partly due to injuries. The 23-year-old wide receiver never posted more than 243 receiving yards in a season through five years at LSU. Still, Hilton ran a 4.41 40-yard dash at the NFL Combine, so he could at least make some noise on special teams en route to a potential roster spot.
