LeCounte was waived by the Rams on Monday.
LeCounte joined the Rams on a reserve/future deal in January after he spent the first two years of his career in Cleveland playing a very limited role. He'll now work to find an opportunity elsewhere.

Browns' Richard LeCounte: Clear of injury report
LeCounte (undisclosed) isn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon Journal reports.
LeCounte was unavailable for Sunday's loss to the Steelers but is back at practice with no issues Wednesday. The rookie fifth-round pick has almost exclusively played special teams this season and was also a healthy scratch for three games.

Browns' Richard LeCounte: Won't play Sunday
LeCounte (undisclosed) will not play in the Browns' Week 8 contest with the Steelers on Sunday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
LeCounte has seen a minimal role in the Browns' defensive gameplan, recording only five defensive snaps on the season. The 23-year-old safety will miss his fourth game of the season Sunday. Expect Grant Delpit to fill in as John Johnson's backup Sunday with LeCounte ruled out.
