Parkinson caught five of six targets for 31 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 18-16 loss to the Cardinals.
The tight end's six targets tied Kyren Williams for second on the team behind Puka Nacua's seven on a day the Rams couldn't move the ball. Parkinson entered Sunday with four catches for 24 yards on seven targets. He can largely be ignored in fantasy football as the Rams' main blocking tight end.

Parkinson was able to play through his shoulder injury in Week 5 versus the Bills, but it still appears to be bothering him as Sunday's game versus the Cardinals approaches. He'll now look to repeat what he did a week ago and upgrade to full participation at practice Friday and avoid carrying an injury designation into the weekend.

Parkinson played 53 snaps on offensive during Monday night's 37-34 overtime loss to the Bills, reeling in one of two targets for three yards. The tight end was limited at each of the team's first two practices last week before logging a full session Friday, and he appears to be potentially on track to do the same thing prior to Week 6. Parkinson will have two more opportunities to officially practice before Sunday's matchup with Arizona.

Coach Sean McVay told Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site on Thursday that the Rams plan to increase Parkinson's activity level as the week goes on. While Parkinson was limited to begin the week, coach Sean McVay said the plan is to ramp the tight end up throughout the week and have him available Monday night against the Bills, according to Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site. Parkinson will not practice Friday and will log three DNPs for the week, but the Rams are leaving the light on for him to play Week 4, especially after Terrance Ferguson (ankle) was already ruled out for the contest. Rams' Colby Parkinson: Considered day-to-day
Head coach Sean McVay said Monday that Parkinson is day-to-day due to an AC joint sprain in his shoulder that he picked up during the Rams' 30-26 loss to the Broncos on Sunday, Adam Grosbard of The Orange County Register reports.
The Rams are already expecting Terrance Ferguson (ankle) to not be available for Week 4 against the Eagles this Sunday, and Los Angeles could also be without their top tight end in Parkinson. Wednesday's injury report will be the first indication of Parkinson's chances of playing Week 4, but if he's not cleared to suit up, then the Rams would lean more heavily on Tyler Higbee, Davis Allen and rookie second-rounder Max Klare. While Parkinson failed to haul in his lone target against Denver, it's worth noting that Higbee put together an 8-62-1 receiving line on 11 targets, which was second-most behind wide receiver Davante Adams (13) among Rams pass catchers.
