Titans' Jaren Kanak: Moved to IR
The Titans placed Kanak (pectoral) on injured reserve Sunday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Kanah suffered a season-ending pectoral injury in Thursday's preseason opener against the 49ers. The rookie seventh-rounder will now have to wait until 2027 for a potential pro debut. The Titans signed tight end Matt Lauter in a corresponding move.

Titans' Jaren Kanak: Out for season with pec injury
Kanak will miss the entire 2026 campaign due to a torn pectoral, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Kanak made an early exit from Thursday's preseason game at San Francisco and wasn't able to return to action. Now that the severity of the injury is known, the rookie seventh-round pick will need to wait until 2027 to make his pro debut. Kylen Granson, David Martin-Robinson and Joel Wilson now will compete for the tertiary TE roles in the Titans offense behind Gunnar Helm and Daniel Bellinger.

Titans' Jaren Kanak: Suffers pectoral injury
Kanak (pectoral) exited Thursday's preseason game against the 49ers early and did not return, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Kanak suffered a pectoral injury during Thursday's contest, and it is unclear how much time the tight end will miss. The 22-year-old was selected in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft and is competing with David Martin-Robinson, Kylen Granson and Joel Wilson for a spot on the Titans' 53-man roster.

Titans' Jaren Kanak: Picked by Titans
The Titans selected Kanak in the seventh round of the 2026 NFL Draft, 225th overall.
Kanak spent his entire four-year collegiate career in Norman with Oklahoma, but it wasn't until his senior season that he saw the field. He didn't disappoint in 2025, compiling 44 catches for 533 yards while dropping just one pass. Kanak is severely undersized for the tight end position at just 6-foot-2, 234 pounds, but he at least makes up for that with a 4.52 40-yard dash time. It remains to be seen if he can stick at tight end in the long run, but he has plenty of special-teams work on his resume and will likely be asked to contribute on that front in Nashville this fall.
