Draft Scouting Report
Pro Comparison: Carter Coughlin
Summary
Cian Slone carved his own path to becoming a draft prospect. He began at American River Junior College for two seasons, transferred to Utah State for two more, then finished at NC State, where he starred as a true 3-4 outside linebacker. Slone’s ability to play in space is rare for a defender who can also rush the passer. The question is whether he can excel in one role rather than simply be adequate in both. He profiles as a tweener without a clearly defined NFL position.
