The Commanders waived Cypress (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Cypress was waived with an injury designation last month and reverted to injured reserve. He's now free to look for a new opportunity once healthy.

Commanders' Fentrell Cypress: Lands on IR
Cypress (undisclosed) reverted to injured reserve Monday after being waived with an injury designation Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houstonreports.
Cypress signed with the Commanders in May as an undrafted free agent. The 24-year-old played the final two seasons of his college career at Florida State, appearing in 23 games for the Seminoles.
