Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Cleared for Week 13
Sinnott (ankle) doesn't have an injury designation ahead of Washington's matchup versus the Broncos on Sunday.
Sinnott is healthy again after sustaining an ankle injury in the Week 10 loss to Detroit. The 2024 second-round pick should resume his role as the team's No. 3 tight end against Denver.

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Downgraded to out
The Commanders announced Saturday that Sinnott (ankle) has been downgraded to out for Sunday's game against the Dolphins in Madrid.
Sinnott will miss his first game of the season due to an ankle injury, after he was added to Thursday's injury report as a limited participant and then missed practice entirely Friday. In his stead, John Bates and Colson Yankoff will handle expanded depth roles behind starting tight end Zach Ertz versus Miami on Sunday.

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Questionable after Friday's DNP
Sinnott (ankle) didn't practice Friday and is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.
Sinnott's trending in the wrong direction, as he was added to Washington's injury report as a limited participant in practice Thursday and was unable to practice in any capacity Friday. John Bates and Colson Yankoff are available to provide depth behind Zach Ertz in Madrid against the Dolphins if Sinnott's declared out.

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Added to injury report
Sinnott (ankle) was limited in practice Thursday.
Sinnott wasn't listed on Wednesday's injury report, so it appears his ankle issue occurred during practice. The second-year pro has an opportunity to see increased receiving work Sunday versus the Dolphins in Madrid, if healthy enough to play, given that wide receivers Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Treylon Burks (finger) have both already been ruled out. That said, across 10 regular-season games so far Sinnott has only tallied three grabs for 31 yards and one touchdown (on three targets), as Zach Ertz remains Washington's clear top tight end.

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Nabs second reception of season
Sinnott took the field for 11 of the Commanders' 53 offensive snaps and reeled in his lone target for a 22-yard gain in Monday's 28-7 loss to the Chiefs.
A second-round pick in 2024, Sinnott was lauded for his pass-catching chops coming out of Kansas State but has thus far struggled to carve out a role in his first season and a half in the professional ranks. He came through with one of the Commanders' bigger plays of the night Monday, but a lack of steady playing time will likely continue to hurt Sinnott's chances of making an impact in most weeks. Sinnott is the clear No. 3 tight end in Washington, with his 21 percent share in Week 8 placing him firmly behind Zach Ertz (62 percent) and John Bates (55 percent).

Commanders' Ben Sinnott: Finishes without a catch
Sinnott finished without a catch on one target in Monday's preseason loss to the Bengals.
Sinnott was a second-round pick last year, but there hasn't been much hint of him making a push to overtake 33-year-old Zach Ertz, who was among the players rested Monday night. Sinnott took a snap on the opening drive with Jayden Daniels, but only in a multi-TE formation, whereas John Bates was in for every play. It looks like Sinnott may just be the No. 3 TE again unless an injury to Ertz opens up the pass-catching role.
