Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Ready for Sunday
Amegadjie (quadriceps) was a full participant in Friday's practice and has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans.
Amengadjie was limited earlier in the week due to a quadriceps issue, but it appears he's recovered just in time for Chicago's Week 1 outing. Expect the rookie offensive lineman out of Yale to serve as one of the Bears' top backup tackles Sunday.

Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Activated off NFI list
The Bears activated Amegadjie (quadriceps) from the active/non-football injury list Sunday, Scott Bair of the Falcons' official site reports.
Amegadjie started training camp on the NFI list due to a quadriceps injury that kept him out of OTAs and minicamp. Now that he's passed his physical, the rookie fourth-rounder will look to get his first taste of NFL action in the Bears' preseason finale against the Chiefs on Thursday.

Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Starting camp on NFI list
The Bears placed Amegadjie (quadriceps) on the active/non-football injury list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Amegadjie was injured prior to the 2024 NFL Draft and missed all of OTAs and minicamp after the Bears selected him in the third round. It's hard to envision Amegadjie pushing Braxton Jones or Darnell Wright for a starting job at offensive tackle this summer after all of the missed reps.

Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Likely out for OTAs and camp
Amegadjie likely won't participate in OTAs or in rookie minicamp due to a quadriceps injury he sustained prior to the draft, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
It's likely Chicago was aware Amegadjie wouldn't be fully ready to go right from the jump, so it's probably too early to start ringing any alarm bells. Once ready, he'll compete for reps at tackle with Braxton Jones and Darnell Wright.

Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Headed home to Chicago
The Bears selected Amegadjie in the third round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 75th overall.
A Chicago native out of noted football factory, Yale, Amegadjie is an impressive prospect with a legitimate chance to make the leap to NFL stardom. At 6-foot-5 and 323 pounds with 36-inch arms, Amegadjie has the size and length to stick at tackle on paper. He dominated Ivy League competition but the NFL will be a big step up. He will be just 22 years old for his entire rookie season, and thus, the Bears will not need to rush him onto the field if the starting unit stays intact. In time, look for Amegadjie to challenge for tackle reps in the Windy City.
