Swanson is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Phillies.
The Braves have said that they'll give Swanson regular rest days to ease him into the majors. After starting three games in a row, he'll give way to Gordon Beckham at shortstop. Over said outings, Swanson went 2-for-11 with three RBI.
