The Brewers outrighted Shewmake to Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
Since he's been outrighted previously, Shewmake has the ability to elect free agency. If he accepts the outright assignment, he will report to Nashville as infield depth. Shewmake is a career .196/.206/.320 hitter over parts of three major-league seasons.
