Swanson went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Tigers.

The Cubs only mustered five total hits, but Swanson provided the big jolt of the night as he popped his 10th home run of the season and first since July 11. The shortstop had at least 20 long balls in each of the last three years, though he's running out of time to reach that mark in 2024. On a more positive note, Swanson is at least batting .302 this month.
