Marte (ankle) is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Alex Weiner of ArizonaSports.com reports.
The 30-year-old initially suffered the bruised ankle Saturday and returned to the lineup for Monday's series opener versus Colorado, but he exited the contest after showing discomfort during his first plate appearance. Marte was scheduled to undergo an MRI on the ankle Tuesday, though the team is still awaiting the results of the imaging, per Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic.
