The Dodgers selected Barnes' contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday.
The Dodgers shuffled their bullpen for fresh arms Monday, bringing up both Barnes and Seth Halvorsen while Kyle Hurt was optioned to Triple-A and Jonathan Hernandez was designated for assignment. Barnes has a 6.92 ERA and 1.85 WHIP over 13 innings across five major-league games this season, although those numbers are inflated by the seven runs he gave up to the Athletics on July 1.
