The Dodgers selected Barnes' contract from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Tuesday.
Barnes will return to the majors to give the Dodgers' bullpen a fresh arm, replacing Landon Knack. Barnes gave up seven earned runs in seven innings during his last outing with the Dodgers, and he coughed up seven runs in just 1.2 frames during his most recent appearances at Oklahoma City.
