Polanco is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
The switch-hitting Polanco will be withheld from the lineup for the Mariners' second consecutive matchup with a lefty starter (Ranger Suarez). Mitch Garver will serve as Seattle's designated hitter in place of Polanco, who has produced a .279 wOBA over his 71 plate appearances versus southpaws in 2025.
