Marte walked off the field with a trainer in the middle of Tuesday's batting practice, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
The 22-year-old Marte is currently slated to lead off against lefty Drew Smyly, but he apparently tweaked his ankle during BP. While he walked off the field under his own power, the Mariners could always end up scratching him from the lineup if they have any reservations about his health.
