Ruiz will get a breather after he went 0-for-3 with two walks, a run scored and two punchouts in Monday's 8-1 win over the Giants. Riley Adams will replace him behind the plate and bat sixth as Washington faces left-hander Kyle Harrison on the mound Tuesday.
