Dominguez was charged with a blown save in Friday's 5-3 win over the Giants, allowing a run on one hit and two walks in one-third of an inning.
Protecting a one-run lead in the ninth, Dominguez walked the first two batters he faced before Casey Schmitt tied the game with a base hit. It's the first blown save in 10 chances for Dominguez since he joined the Orioles in July. The right-hander has allowed three runs in his last two appearances (1.1 innings) after allowing just one run in his previous 7.1 frames. Despite his recent struggles, Dominguez figures to remain in the closing role down the stretch. His ERA sits at 4.37 on the year with a 1.20 WHIP and 66:18 K:BB across 55.2 innings between Baltimore and Philadelphia.
