Kelly started at designated hitter and went 2-for-4 with a double and two RBI in Saturday's 5-2 loss to the Twins.
Kelly entered the starting lineup, replacing primary DH Josh Smith, and extended his hit streak to six games. During that stretch, Kelly is 9-for-23 with one home run, six RBI and four runs. He's eaten into the playing time of primary catcher Jonah Heim, who is 2-for-15 over the same stretch. Overall, since the Rangers acquired him from the Tigers, Kelly is batting .344/.382/.500 over 10 contests.
