Triple-A Round Rock placed Robert on its 7-day injured list Aug. 7 with an unspecified injury.
After the Rangers optioned him to Round Rock on July 21, Robert made just one appearance for the Triple-A club before being shut down with the injury. The 29-year-old right-hander has been a standout performer at the back end of the Round Rock bullpen this season, logging a 2.27 ERA, 0.71 WHIP and 41:8 K:BB in 31.2 innings.
