Jung was removed from Friday's game against the Twins after getting hit on the hand by a pitch, Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News reports.
Jung stayed in the game after taking a 94.6-mph fastball off his wrist in the first inning but was later removed in the second frame. The severity of his injury remains unknown, but the Rangers will likely send him in for imaging and provide an update once they know more. Cody Freeman would be next up to start at third base if Jung misses a game.
