Triple-A Worcester placed La Sorsa on its 7-day injured list July 1 due to a concussion, Tommy Cassell of the Worcester Telegram & Gazette reports.
After being acquired from the Pirates on June 4, La Sorsa made his Red Sox debut three days later before being optioned to Triple-A soon thereafter. The reliever went on to toss 6.1 scoreless innings over six appearances for Worcester before hitting the shelf.
