Steer is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rays due to a sore right knee, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
Steer exited Sunday's 14-3 loss to the Phillies with the injury and is viewed as day-to-day, but he'll need to miss at least one game on account of the issue. Nick Senzel is covering third base Monday in Steer's stead.
