McMahon went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run and a walk in Tuesday's 10-7 loss to the Angels.
McMahon's blast gave the Rockies a 6-2 advantage in the second inning, but they didn't hold the lead for long. The infielder has gone 15 games without a multi-hit effort, batting a poor .170 in that span, though he has drawn 11 walks. For the season, he's at a .262/.348/.440 slash line with 16 homers, 50 RBI, 51 runs scored, 21 doubles and three stolen bases over 104 contests. After staying put at the trade deadline, McMahon should continue to occupy a starting role in the heart of the lineup.
