Buxton is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs.

Buxton will get a some routine maintenance for the series finale in Chicago, sitting for the first time in two weeks while Nick Gordon patrols center field. Since returning from a two-month stint on the injured list in late August, Buxton is hitting .194 with four home runs, 15 runs, six RBI and one stolen base in 23 games.
